Sunday, September 13 - Safe Travels to Lisbon!

We wish you safe travels as you journey to Lisbon! Here are a few important departure and arrival details:

• Based on longer than usual lines at the airport recently, we recommend that you arrive 3 hours prior to flight departure time.
• We always recommend bringing copies of your passports.
• To help streamline the process, the European Union offers the official “Travel to Europe” mobile app, which allows eligible travelers to pre-register certain information and complete the required questionnaire prior to travel. Travelers are encouraged to download the app and complete the questionnaire approximately 72 hours prior to departure. Download the app from App Store or Google Play.
• After passport control, continue through the airport to the baggage claim area. The belt number where your luggage will appear is displayed on screens inside the baggage claim area. Airport staff might pull bags from the belt, so be sure to check both on and off the belt for your luggage.
• Trolleys are available for your luggage. (Note that trolleys cannot exit the terminal building). Once you have collected all your luggage, you can proceed to the customs area.
• When you exit the customs area, look for ground transportation representatives holding AHF Patterns of Success signs. They will direct you to awaiting vehicles.
• Transfer time to the hotel is approximately 10 to 20 minutes.
• The official hotel check-in time is 4 pm, and the hotel will make every effort to have rooms available earlier. Remember that your room does not have to be ready to start enjoying your day!
• Upon arrival at the EPIC SANA Marques, you will be greeted by your AHF hosts and our group check-in. A credit card is required for check-in and have your passport handy for ID verification.
• If you have a question prior to arrival, you can still contact us using the mobile web app’s Help Desk. It will be monitored starting on September 14. 

Reminders:

• Stop by the AHF Patterns of Success Hospitality Desk in the reception area from 8 am – 5 pm to pick up your meal allowance cash - and be sure to say hello to your friendly travel staff!
• The Welcome Reception will take place from 5:30–8:30 pm at Koji Rooftop Bar. Enjoy delicious cocktails, flavorful cuisine and lively entertainment throughout the evening. Attire is smart casual.
